Store Policy

This document sets forth Win Depot’s policies regarding product information, warranties, ordering, payment, shipping, delivery, cancellations, returns, and refunds. These policies apply to purchases made through windepotstore.com unless a section expressly states otherwise. Policies for in-store purchases may differ and are provided at the time of sale.

Definitions

“Win Depot,” “we,” “us,” or “our” means Win Depot and its affiliated entities, as applicable.

“Customer,” “you,” or “your” means the purchaser and any person acting on the purchaser’s behalf.

“Website” means windepotstore.com.

“Products” means goods offered for sale by Win Depot.

“Lower 48” means the forty-eight (48) contiguous United States.

“New York City” means Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx, and Staten Island.

Product Information, Intended Use, and Warranties

Manufacturer warranties only

Products are sold with the applicable manufacturer’s warranty, if any. Warranty coverage, duration, exclusions, limitations, and claim procedures vary by manufacturer and by product. Win Depot does not provide any separate or additional warranty unless Win Depot expressly states otherwise in a written document signed by an authorized Win Depot representative.

Disclaimer of warranties

Except for any manufacturer warranty that may apply, Products are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.” To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Win Depot disclaims all other warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Commercial-grade and intended-use considerations

Certain Products may be commercial-grade and intended for commercial applications. Use of commercial-grade Products in residential or non-commercial settings may affect insurance coverage and may void or limit manufacturer warranty coverage. You are solely responsible for confirming suitability and compliance with all applicable insurance requirements, building and safety codes, regulations, permits, and manufacturer specifications before purchase, installation, and use.

Images, descriptions, and controlling documentation

Product images are provided for general reference and illustrative purposes only. Images may depict optional accessories, add-on components, features, finishes, packaging, or configurations that are not included with the listed item, and may in some cases show a similar product or model.

In the event of any inconsistency, the written product description, model number, and manufacturer documentation (including specification sheets and SDS/Safety Data Sheets, where applicable) will control. You are responsible for reviewing available product literature prior to placing an order.

Ordering, Payment, and Verification

Accepted payment methods (in-store)

Win Depot accepts the following payment methods for in-store purchases, subject to verification and availability:

  • Credit and debit cards: American Express, Discover, Mastercard, Visa
  • Mobile payments: Apple Pay, Google Pay
  • Cash
  • Checks: personal and business checks are held for five (5) business days prior to release/fulfillment; certified/bank checks may be accepted without a hold period at Win Depot’s discretion
  • ACH and wire transfers: orders are processed within two (2) to three (3) business days after funds are received and verified as available/cleared

Accepted payment methods (online)

Win Depot accepts the following payment methods for purchases placed on the Website:

  • Credit and debit cards: American Express, Discover, Mastercard, Visa
  • PayPal

Not accepted

The following are not accepted for in-store or online purchases:

  • Checks drawn on foreign accounts
  • Foreign currency

Payment timing, holds, and returned payments

Orders paid by check, ACH, or wire transfer may not be released, scheduled, or shipped until payment is received and confirmed as available/cleared. If a payment is returned, reversed, or charged back, Win Depot may cancel the order if it has not shipped, and may pursue available remedies to collect the outstanding balance and any applicable bank or processing fees, to the extent permitted by law.

Verification and fraud prevention

Win Depot may require reasonable identity and payment verification (including a government-issued photo ID) and may decline, void, or hold any transaction where fraud is suspected, authorization is not obtained, or funds are not available.

Shipping and Delivery

Where we ship

Win Depot ships only to permanent residential and business street addresses within the Lower 48.

Addresses we do not ship to

Win Depot does not ship to:

  • Hawaii or Alaska
  • U.S. territories or protectorates
  • P.O. Boxes
  • APO/FPO/DPO addresses
  • Freight forwarders, re-shippers, or third-party forwarding services
  • Temporary accommodations, including hotels, motels, hostels, short-term rentals, and similar locations

Orders submitted with a non-deliverable address may be canceled or placed on hold until a qualifying address is provided.

Carriers, split shipments, and tracking

Small parcel shipments are typically delivered via USPS, UPS, and/or FedEx (carrier selection may vary by item, destination, and operational requirements). Oversized, heavy, or large-quantity items may ship via common freight carrier (LTL/FTL freight), which generally delivers curbside.

Win Depot may split an order into multiple shipments. Where available and permitted, tracking information will be provided.

Freight delivery terms (curbside)

Freight shipments are delivered curbside at the delivery address. The carrier is not responsible for moving items inside the premises, upstairs, into basements, or to a specific room. You are responsible for having adequate personnel and equipment available to receive and move the shipment after delivery.

Lift-gate service

If your delivery location does not have a loading dock and/or cannot accommodate tractor-trailer access, you must select lift-gate service at checkout when offered for the item. Lift-gate service provides curbside unloading for heavy freight items (typically over 75 lbs). Lift-gate service does not include inside delivery. You are responsible for moving the Product from the curb into your location.

Failure to select required lift-gate service, or failure to provide an accessible delivery location, may result in delivery failure, additional carrier fees, re-delivery charges, and/or return shipping and restocking charges, as permitted by law.

Shipping rates and promotions

  • Deliveries within New York City: free shipping applies to eligible orders over $75
  • Deliveries outside New York City (including the Lower 48): standard shipping rates apply and will be calculated and displayed at checkout (or otherwise communicated prior to acceptance of payment, where applicable)

Free-shipping eligibility may exclude oversized/heavy items, freight shipments, special-order items, hazardous materials, and other items as determined by Win Depot and disclosed at checkout.

Delivery timing

Any shipping or delivery timeframes shown are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delivery may be impacted by carrier delays, weather, capacity constraints, supply issues, product availability, incorrect address information, or other events outside Win Depot’s reasonable control.

Address accuracy and delivery access

You are solely responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address and ensuring the delivery location is accessible for the selected delivery method. Additional fees resulting from address corrections, failed delivery attempts, restricted access, re-delivery, storage, or return-to-sender may be charged to you to the extent permitted by law.

Inspection, damage, and shortage reporting

You must inspect shipments upon delivery.

  • For freight deliveries, note any visible damage or shortages on the carrier’s delivery receipt before signing.
  • Retain all packaging and contents for inspection and claims.

If you believe an order is damaged, incomplete, or incorrect, contact Win Depot promptly after delivery with your order number and supporting photos of the Product, packaging, and shipping label. Carrier claim windows may be limited, and late reporting may restrict available remedies.

Store pickup

If store pickup is offered and selected, Win Depot will notify you when the order is ready. To pick up an order, you must present:

  • A government-issued photo ID matching the name on the order (or the authorized pickup person)
  • The credit card used for the purchase, if applicable
  • The order number

Win Depot may refuse release of an order if identity cannot be verified or pickup requirements are not met.

Title transfer and risk of loss

Title to Products and risk of loss transfer to you upon Win Depot’s tender of the shipment to the carrier (when the order leaves Win Depot’s facility), except where prohibited by applicable law. After transfer, you are responsible for loss, theft, damage, delay, or non-delivery occurring in transit, subject to any applicable carrier claim process and any remedies expressly provided by the manufacturer’s warranty, if any.

If you arrange shipping or pickup through a carrier or agent not selected by Win Depot, title and risk of loss transfer to you when the order is made available for pickup and/or released to your carrier or agent.

Refused, undeliverable, and unclaimed shipments; fees

If a shipment is refused, returned, deemed undeliverable, or unclaimed for any reason (including an incorrect or incomplete address, failure to accept delivery, restricted access, failure to schedule freight delivery, failure to provide required lift-gate service, or carrier delivery attempts exceeded), you are responsible for all applicable charges, which may include:

  • Outbound shipping charges
  • Return shipping charges
  • Re-delivery charges
  • Carrier storage fees
  • Other fees assessed by the carrier or logistics provider

Returned items may be subject to a restocking fee and/or a reduction in refund to reflect outbound shipping costs (including any “free shipping” value), return shipping and carrier fees, and any damage, missing parts, or non-original packaging, to the extent permitted by law. Freight items and special-order items may be non-cancellable and/or non-returnable as disclosed at checkout or in the applicable product listing.

Any refunds, if approved, are issued only after the returned item is received and inspected by Win Depot, and will be processed to the original payment method unless otherwise required by law.

Order Cancellation (Website Orders)

To request cancellation of an order placed on the Website, contact Win Depot as soon as possible to determine whether the order is eligible for cancellation.

No cancellation after shipment

Once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled. After shipment, any request for refund or exchange, if available, is governed by this document’s returns and refunds terms and applicable carrier delivery rules.

Pre-shipment cancellations

If an order has not yet shipped, Win Depot may be able to cancel it; however, cancellation is not guaranteed and may depend on order status, processing, or supplier fulfillment. Approved refunds, if any, are issued to the original payment method and may take time to appear depending on the payment provider.

Returns and Refunds (Website Purchases)

This section applies to items purchased on the Website (“Online Purchases”). Return policies for in-store purchases may differ and are provided at the time of sale.

Return window

Eligible items may be returned within fourteen (14) days of the purchase date (the date the order is placed on the Website).

Return authorization required

You must obtain return authorization from Win Depot before sending any item back. Returns shipped without prior authorization will not be accepted and may be returned to sender at the customer’s expense.

Return eligibility and condition requirements

To be eligible for return, the item must be:

  • Unused and in new condition
  • In the original packaging with the UPC code intact
  • Returned with the original receipt or order documentation
  • Returned with all included materials and components, including manuals, instructions, accessories, parts, and inserts

Items that are used, incomplete, missing packaging/UPC, or not in resalable condition may be denied or may receive a reduced refund, to the extent permitted by law.

Refund processing

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method after the returned item is received and inspected. Win Depot will notify you once the return has been processed. Processing time may vary based on inspection and payment-provider timelines.

Restocking fees

Restocking fees may apply and vary by manufacturer, product type, and supplier requirements. A typical restocking fee is approximately twenty percent (20%), but the actual amount may be higher or lower depending on the item. Any applicable restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.

Return shipping costs and deductions

Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless Win Depot determines, in its sole discretion, that the return is due to Win Depot error.

If you refuse delivery, the original outbound shipping cost (including any “free shipping” value, if applicable) and any carrier return fees may be deducted from the refund to the extent permitted by law.

Damaged, defective, or incorrect items

You must inspect your order upon delivery and report any defects, shipping damage, or incorrect items promptly after receipt for resolution. Failure to report promptly may limit available remedies due to carrier or manufacturer claim deadlines.

Non-returnable items (final sale)

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Gift cards
  • Used, installed, or damaged Products (including Products damaged after delivery)
  • Items not in original packaging and/or without the UPC intact
  • Sale or clearance items
  • Custom-made or special-order items
  • Products shipped directly from the manufacturer (drop-ship items)
  • Lease purchases (final sale)
  • Perishable goods (such as food)
  • Intimate or sanitary products
  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases

Some items that are otherwise returnable may still be subject to a manufacturer-imposed restocking fee.

Policy Updates

Win Depot may update these policies from time to time. The version in effect at the time an order is placed will apply to that order.
